Red Talk on Trafficking in Persons
On Thursday the 30th of July, the IFRC will be hosting a RedTalk to mark World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. The RedTalk will be streamed live (in English) on IFRC social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, at 13:00 Geneva time, and a link to the recording of the session will be made available shortly after with the ability to choose subtitles in various languages.
The RedTalk will involve Michalle Mabugnon, Migration Focal Point from the Philippines Red Cross, facilitating a conversation with Valeria Ragni, Anti-Trafficking Adviser with British Red Cross, and Kyla Raby, Protection, Gender and Inclusion Delegate with IFRC, to discuss the relevance of this day, the impact of COVID19 on trafficking in persons and the ways in which the IFRC and National Societies are responding to this humanitarian issue. They will also be answering viewers questions live through each of the social media platforms above.
