About the Hub
This hub was created by the STEP (Sustainable integration of Trafficked human beings through proactive identification and Enhanced Protection) project with funding from The Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, part of the European Commission. STEP project partners and our colleagues in the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement advised on the hub’s design and content. The hub is currently hosted by the British Red Cross.
The hub is an online space with guides, tools and other resources for Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies and other organisations on trafficking prevention and response. It is also a platform to share your understanding and knowledge of activities which promote safe migration. This will help us all to support people who are at risk of being trafficked and people who have experienced trafficking.
If your National Society is planning to address needs related to safe migration and trafficking, our guidelines are a good place to start. You can find guidance from European National Societies and Asia-Pacific National Societies on our Guidance and Policy section, which outline the Red Cross Red Crescent approach to trafficking.
If you already work with people who are at risk of being trafficked or with survivors of trafficking, you can find more information and technical knowledge in our regional work section. This includes resources such as country reports and case studies from other national societies. You can also contact National Societies directly using their contact details on Our Activities page.
